Insurance Requirements

All practicing members of the Register are required to have valid insurance which covers them for civil liability up to the value of £5 Million.

If you do not currently have this level of cover, then you are able to purchase insurance via REPs at a fantastic price especially for our members.

In order for us to be able to approve your registration, you will need to either:

  • Purchase insurance directly from REPs
  • Provide us with evidence that you are covered for the above liability up to the stated amount - either through your own policy or employer's
  • Self certify that at this time you are not practicing and as such do not require insurance

For more information about the great deal on insurance we've been able to negotiate for our members, please visit our FAQ.
