In order to process your application, we will need to upload copies of the following;

 

  • Your certificates from the courses you've completed which allow you entry on to the register*

If you do not yet have your course certificate from your awarding organisation, you may submit either your certificate gained from your training provider, or a signed letter from your training provider stating that you have passed your qualification and are awaiting your certificate. Please tick the appropriate tick box to indicate this.

  • A signed letter of authenticity

  • An industry based CV

Optional - an industry CV can be uploaded to demonstrate any experience gained in the health and fitness industry. If you are new to the industry, it is not required.

Insurance Requirements

All practicing members of the Register are required to have valid insurance which covers them for civil liability up to the value of £10 Million.

If you do not currently have this level of cover, then you are able to purchase insurance via REPs at a fantastic price especially for our members.

In order for us to be able to approve your registration, you will need to either:

 

  • Purchase insurance directly from REPs
  • Provide us with evidence that you are covered for the above liability up to the stated amount - either through your own policy or employer's
  • Self certify that at this time you are not practicing and as such do not require insurance

Continued Professional Development - CPD

Members of the Register must be able to demonstrate that they remain in good ‘professional standing’ by engaging in appropriate Continued Professional Development (CPD) activities.

Being on the public facing Register

REPs is a Public Register and as such all members will be listed in the Members Directory on our website. This enables members of the public, as well as employers, to verify your qualifications and status of registration.
