REPs to carry out research on size of exercise professionals market
The Register of
Exercise Professionals has commissioned Leisure-net
Solutions and ReAim to carry out important research for
the health and fitness sector.
The companies will be
carrying out primary research to establish the number of
exercise professionals working in the UK as of February
2008. They will be doing this by using a variety of
research methods to cover all the different sectors,
including private and public sector operators,
universities, the miliatary, voluntary and free
lance/self employed workers. The results will be
announced in March 2008.

Registar of REPs, stated,
"This is vital
information for the Register and for the industry as a
whole. For the first time we will know the true extent
to the numbers of people working in this increasingly
important sector"
