Here is some advice if intend working in New Zealand

Make sure you are registered with us before leaving the UK - your registration details can then be checked from our Website here

Public liability insurance in the UK will not cover you for long periods of overseas work.

You will need to keep up with your CPD programme.

Register in New Zealand upon arrival – you must accept local laws, rules, regulations and any other code of practice. You will be given details when registered..

If you are a level 2 gym instructor you will be a Consultant Level 1.

If you are a level 2 exercise to music teacher you will be a Group Exercise Consultant.

If you are a level 3 advanced instructor with unit D441 for older adults, unit D442 for people with disabilities, unit D445 working with children and unit D443 ante/post natal - then you will be a Consultant Level 2.

To be a personal trainer in New Zealand you must first be registered with us as an advanced instructor at level 3, plus hold the personal trainer units D447 and B224, plus unit D441 for older adults, unit D442 for people with disabilities, unit D445 working with children and unit D443 ante/post natal.
