Here is some advice if intend working in Australia

Make sure you are registered with us before leaving the UK - your registration details can then be checked from our Website here or with our office.

Public liability insurance in the UK will not cover you for long periods of overseas work.

You will need to keep up with your CPD programme.

Register in Australia upon arrival – you must accept local laws, rules, regulations and any other code of practice. You will be given details when registered..

If you are registered as a level 2 instructor, or a level 2 exercise to music teacher, you will be Certificate III.

To be a personal trainer in Australia you must first be registered with us as an advanced instructor at level 3, plus hold the personal trainer units D447 and B224, plus the new unit D444 in core stability. To be recognised at the Cert IV level you should be registered with us as an advanced instructor at level 3, have D444 and either unit D441 for older adults and/or unit D445 working with children.
